Avocado Lime Banana Shake

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado (peeled and pitted)
1 lime, quartered
1 ripe banana
2 cups fresh spinach
2 cups white grape juice
ice (enough to fill blender)
sugar, to taste

Directions:

Place all ingredients in blender finishing with ice. Blend until totally smooth. Add sugar as desired. (I used Splenda). Strain into pitcher or individual cups. Garnish with thin slice of lime and enjoy.

Source: I got this recipe while visiting my local Costco. It was SO tasty! I love all the healthy things in it.

Dylan LOVES "green" drinks! I'll have to try this one. I make a simple one with baby spinach, orange juice (I just scoop a little out of a frozen can and put water and ice) and then any frozen fruit you have (strawberries, blueberries, etc) and sometimes a banana. Then I sweeten it a bit. The whole family loves it! I'll have to try it with the avocado. I think I actually have some white grape juice right now so maybe we'll try it out.
