Jackson Hole, Wyoming

For the last five years we have had a Trevino Family Trip.  We have always gone to Sun Valley, Idaho.  But this year we went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

IT. WAS. GORGEOUS

At times it was overwhelmingly gorgeous.  I was in awe at its beauty and overcome with emotion for beautiful earth God has created for us!!!

I was grateful and emotional for the opportunity that we have been given to experience it.  It was great to be together with the family and just have fun.  We loved every minute of it!

Picture overload, below.  From the 500+ pics we took (no exaggeration) it was hard to narrow it down to these.
At Teton Village

At Jenny Lake, Teton Natinal Park
This was absolutely GORGEOUS.  The kids swam in the lake and so did some of the adults.  The water was cold and the ground was very rocky, but it was beautiful!

Oti.  He loves the water, but he also likes to drink it.  :)
You can see part of the beauty of this place behind him.

The perfect rock for the kids to climb onto.

 Oti - 13+months

Milli Moo - 3.5 yrs old

 Mylo - 6.5 yrs old

 Leah - almost 9!

A little playground in Teton Village

Dave took a bunch of beautiful pics of the Tetons.  He went early in the morning.  I love his eye for this kind of stuff. This is necessarily my favorite one, but I do love how beautiful the Tetons look in this picture.

The Grandpa Al that we love, playing with the babies.

Mylo and I went on a scenic tour on the Snake River.  It was fun.
Dave stayed home with the other three.
On another day Leah and I went on a whitewater tour and it was a blast!  I have no pics of that since we got completely soaked.  It was so much fun!!!

Dave took the other three for ice cream and a little scenic "walking" tour :)

The Gondola was free after five and we took advantage of that.  Dave, Otis and I went up one evening and it is beautiful up there.  You can see as far as your eyes will let you :)

Sean and Karalee's friends, Bob and Ruth had everyone over one evening for a campfire dinner.  I cannot tell you how beautiful and peaceful this place was.  GORGEOUS!  (unfortunately for me, having such small children I cannot fully enjoy this, but their hospitality was wonderful and so sweet of them to share that with us).  The kids loved it!

The kids threw a bunch of rock into the river.

This is my favorite picture of the entire trip.
This girl is a total poser and I love her personality coming through in this picture.
 Mylo and Milli (posing, again!)

Our only family pic of the trip... Milli posing, again.

BEAUTIFUL!!!

We are blessed to have been able to go to Jackson this year.
We loved it and look forward to next years trip.  (fingers crossed it will be an adult trip, yay!)

FHE: Visiting the Lot

We feel extremely blessed to have the oportunity to build our dream house.  God has blessed us so much and we cannot deny his hand in all of this.

We FINALLY signed our lives away and we have a lot to build on and the process will be long, but fun! (right?) For FHE we had snow cones and then we went up to see our new purchase. We are excited to see the progress of this and I am sure we will have lots of FHE's like this.

This Shaved Ice place is YUMMY!!!!  (in the RiteAid parking lot)

This picture of Dave is....um... not flattering, but it makes me laugh.

This is the view from the southeast corner of lot, looking toward the north.  As you can see the lot slops down pretty drastically.  We have met our neighbors to the east and the south.  Very nice people.  We look forward to really being their neighbors.

This picture was taken the following morning.  The lighting was not good in the evening for a family shot.  Behind us we have a view of the Great Salt Lake and infront of us we can see the top third of the temple.  There are TONS of trees surrounding our lot and it really frames the view perfectly.  We will have some great sunsets out the upper deck.

We are waiting on permits, still. We are hoping that this week the digging will begin.  We will be filming a lot of this process.

On a side note:  When I was young and would come to visit my aunt and uncle, I always knew I would settle here in Utah.  Utah feels like home to me.  When we started looking for a home, seven years ago, Bountiful was my top choice.  Dave was ok with Bountiful, but would have rather staying in Salt Lake area.  Once we found our house on 1700South, we (Dave finally joined me) with what Bountiful had to offer.  Then our dreams were to move up the hill a little.  When we started our search for our perfect house, it became clear that building would be the best thing for us to do.  Here we are (almost) living our dreams!  We feel so blessed to have this blessing.  Everything has fallen into place.  My dreams, as a young girl, are coming true. I feel humbled by these events that have unfolded in our life.

I can't say this enough... I CANNOT WAIT!  (i'm giddy with excitement!!!!)
