I am giving up on making ANY food/treat

At least for an indefinite amount of time, I am giving up on making ANY food/treat for my family or friends. I have had so many FAILED attempts lately, its just not helping my self-esteem. I made a not so delicious pasta sauce with veggies, NOBODY liked it. Then I made less than pleasing cupcakes, and not so long ago I made burnt panninis for some friends (YUK)... and to top it off I made BRICKS for some lovely friends out of rice krispies and marshmallows, also known as rice krispies treats. They were ROCK hard, however, I didn't notice until it was too late. I made them look pretty but that was it! I am so tired of sucking at this cooking thing. I will have to seriously make up for that non-gift! One friend said, "at least the chocolate on top was tasty"... I love her for being honest :)

I'm sure that everything wasn't as bad as you think. The treat you brought me was yummy, the chocolate was divine. And, at least your making stuff for people. I didn't even do that much! Love ya girl!

(You can always blame it on the pregnant brain. It works for EVERYTHING!)

Next time will be better. We all make things that we don't think turned out very well. I'm sure that next time whatever you make will be perfect.

I can't believe that it was that bad. You can blame it on the recipe too...sometimes they really don't come out as yummy as you think they are going to be. Try some recipes from here. http://www.landolakes.com/mealideas/RecipeBox_BrowseResult.cfm?Category=Keyword&Keyword=chicken%20breast&Row=1&ExactSearchFlag=1&ResultTitle=Chicken%20Breast&RecipesPerPage=10 they are easy and I love that they use ingridients that are very likely to be in your pantry.
Some that we have like from here are buttermilk herb fried chicken,
easy chicken marsala, oven baked chicken, creamy alfredo srimp casserole, chicken pesto bake. I didn't find the chicken pesto just now but I can email it to you. I know you may not even want to look at a recipe right now...but i just wanted to share this ones for when you are ready to put that apron back on...talking about aprons...you should wear the one that nice girl send your way...and when you do send her a picture. Sorry for the long post.

Just caught up on your blog (I sometimes forget about those private ones, sorry.)

- Congrats on the boy!! He'll balance out the scales for you.
- Love the new hair! Bangs really do help the quick pony tail look styled.
- Could your kids really be any cuter?? I didn't think so!!
- Sorry about the cooking mishaps. I seem to have success for a while & then all of the sudden everything I make is a failure for awhile.. very frustrating!!

I made nasty sweet and sour chicken last week and NO ONE would eat it, not even me!!! I felt so retarded. Oh well, we can't all be good at everything right????
