A Challenge and Some Help Needed

So I was checking blogs when I found this picture ^ of Melissa and I. The picture was taken about two weeks ago and HOLY 'COW' that body looks way to big to fit my seemingly small head! Melissa was also griping about her weight and I have challenged her (and I, and whoever else wants to join) in loosing 25lbs by Christmas. I think its very doable for the both of us.

I need some motivation. I simply have NONE right now, NONE! Hopefully this will get my lazy rear up off the computer chair and back in gear. If you want to join let me know. We will go out to dinner around Christmas time to celebrate our success!

***********

I need your help!!!!!!

I have been thinking about cutting my hair, about chin length. What is YOUR opinion? Should I or Shouldn't I?

I have been tired of my hair and I feel like I need a change. Be honest. I won't be offended.

Good luck on the weight loss goal. I'm working on losing my last 5 to 10. Those last few are so hard!

When it comes to your hair, I say figure out what is flattering to your face. Sometimes short hair makes a person look "chubby" and sometimes it makes them look thinner. I think it also depends on the kind of haircut (short a-line tends to elongate the face and make people look thinner, I think). Anyways. That was probably way more opinion than you were looking for! Sorry! You have a beautiful face. Probably any haircut would look good on you!

Lau, the problem you are going to encounter with your hair is that you look fabulous long or short! I've loved each of the styles I've seen on you, and your face shape looks great both ways. Think lifestyle for one second - do you need it long enough to pony? If not I vote for a drastic A-line bob. That would look so fabulous on you!! Any suggestions for my mop? You are the hair diva, and your opinion carries a lot of weight with me!

I will posting some things that help me loose my eight little eight pounds that I really wanted to loose...now is about trying really hard to stick to the exercise routine to tone up those difficult areas. I will just say that I regret cutting my hair...I feel like it connot grow fast enough...I just keep thinking that it will be long enough for Christmas...but I like the A-line bob idea. Honestly you do look beautiful with long or short and I have seen you with super short hair. It just comes down to have much time you have to fix your hair. I find that the shorter I go the more work and less options. Maybe just cut like 3 or 4 inches off and see how you like it. Then when is time for a trim decide if you want shorter or just a trim. Love you girly girl.

ALRIGHT GIRL I'M IN IT TO WIN IT BABY.
Hmmmmmmmmm I like your hair no matter what you do to it.
I think it'll be cute short.
But maybe you should wait till you loose this weight THEN cut it.
It'll be TONS OF FUN AND A GREAT BONUS.

I didn't read the other comments but in my opinion you look great either way with short or long. I do tell my clients that if they aren't happy with their weight it is normally better to not cut your hair @ chin length because that will round out your face. So... if your goal is to loose weight then maybe wait till you have reached your goal. Try color if you are looking for a change or add some layers.

With all of these people advising you to cut your hair, I have to speak up. Just think about all the times when you wished it was longer. Just get some great layers, like mine!

LOL! Thanks G. Friends for your advice.

Milz, Tomi agrees with you!

I have not decided what I am going to do. I REALLY want a change, but I think I might try to do it with some color (if the budget allows :))

I really love to hear what you have had to say so THANKS!!!

I have to say no on the weight loss because you look awesome and your head is not to small for the body you silly. Also, I'm going to say NO on the hair. This is my new reason for always voting for for long hair...You cannot cannot have long hair when you are an old lady. It's simply not allowed I don't think so I say enjoy it while you've got it.
