Update on Milli

* WARNING*
This is not for those who are
queasy.... so beware.
The second picture might be a bit too graphic for some of you.

Milli is doing great. She is happy and eating and sleeping like she always does. She is playing like a normal one year old. She loves to climb on things and nothing will stop her, unless Dave, Leah or I physically put her down :) (Leah is a GREAT help with her). I went to the burn unit yesterday and they gave me instructions on how to change the bandage and how often. I have to do it twice a day. I cannot do it alone so Dave holds her hand while I change the dressing. She doesn't like it and cries when it gets washed. It doesn't seem to be making a lot of change but we keep praying something will happen as far as some pink spots. Milli has to be seen every two to three days up at the burn unit for them to see the progress. We have to keep a sock over her dressing so she won't pull on it. Poor thing can't grasp things very well, but she manages very well with her left hand.

Here's a picture of her after her nap, eating one of her favorites, grilled cheese!

This next picture is over her wound this morning after we cleaned it out.
We go back to the burn unit on Tuesday. Wish us luck!

she's in my prayers. I'm glad she's managing so well... I really hope it pinks up. Are they talking skin graft if it doesn't?

Carrie- Yes, they are talking skin grafts if it doesn't show signs up healing on it own. The pink would be signs of healing, however Dave and I haven't seen any change since Thursday. We are crossing our fingers!

That first picture is so darn cute of her. I swear her hair gets blonder every time I see her.

I am glad that she is acting like normal. That looks horrid. Once I burned my whole arm and had to have grafts from my hind parts. O.K. just kidding, I can't one up that. Hugs and kisses to that sweet little Milli Vanilli.

Lau! I don't know where I have been. Joel said she burned her hand, but I had no idea of the severity! What can I do to help out?

Poor Milli must be in so much pain! Allegra burnt her hand on the fire place once and it all blistered up. She cried for hours, but that cannot compare to this! No wonder you were feeling horrible last week. I had no idea!!!
