Date Night

Dave and I haven't gone on a date for a while, so it was time. Thanks to Abuela always being so willing to watch the kids at any given time. We know that they will be fed, bathed, the house will be cleaned up and everything will be just fine if she is watching the kids. I didn't do anything fancy. We got some Coldstone and headed up to North Canyon park. When Dave and I were dating we went there one night and talked for hours. It was a great time then as it was last night. It was fun to get out of the house for a while and enjoy each others company. The only bad part... it was a little cold and we were not dressed appropriately for the chilly night. We enjoyed the sunset and really it was wonderful. I love hanging out with Dave we have good laughs and he is a great guy. Of course I took a few pictures... Enjoy!

Ok, not my best picture but still a fun memory.

I had to put this on here. Dave kept complaining about being too cold. We only had one blanket to share and it was not enough. He said he was used to it since he has to fight for the covers every night. He said this is what he has to go through every night... yeah right! He is lucky to have that much blanket...This was a really good time and a very cheap date.

That last pic is pretty funny. I"m glad you got to go out.

Sounds like you had fun, even if it was cold. That's funny that Dave says you hog the covers. Must be an Uboldi thing...Marcos totally steals mine! We need to be better about date nights. Life gets too busy sometimes and we forget to make it a priority. We're pretty good about incorporating family activities, but activities with just the two of us are not frequent enough. What a good example you are!

It looks like you had a great night. We need to do something like that. We always joke around that our weekly date is going to sunday school together- it's the only time we get to hang out without the kids. Unfortunatly, you can't make out at church!
