I hate to see Otis growing. It great that he is growing and he is progressing, but I do not like it!!!
I have only been pumping, which makes me a little sad. About a month ago Otis kept trying to nurse and would arch his back and scream as loud as he could. For two weeks he would do that. Then one day I thought I would try to pump to make sure I had a enough milk. I got scant two ounces. So basically the poor baby was hungry!!! How sad! He ate eight ounces that night and slept all night. I have been pumping ever since and have been able to increase my milk supply (YAY!) I am now pumping an average of 9oz in the morning and 5oz for the rest of the day. I have been adding formula to top it off. And this little pig is now happy as can be and eats 6-8oz EVERY feeding!
I fed him rice cereal a week a go and he did pretty good. He doesn't love rice cereal, but I have a feeling he will love real food. I don't like to see him grow. AT. ALL. Stay little baby Otis. I don't like my monkeys to grow. They are cute and cuddly when they are little! He is becoming my big boy :(

I'm sure it's harder cause he's your last.
I'm glad he's eating so well and is healthy.
I noticed that same thing when Dave took him out on Sunday. He is getting big. He is very cute.
PRECIOUSSSS!!
He looks so cute! I hate seeing my getting growing sooo fast too.
That's how I feel about Tyler this go around.
Otis sure does look like Mylo in that picture when it sits right next to the one in the sidebar.
I pretty much envy bottle feeders! It is so nice to know that your baby is getting enough and not just wondering what they got and if they are still hungry. He is so cute and chubby! Wish I could squeeze him!
Oh my goodness. I love that cute little face. Keep up the good work with pumping...I know it's a lot of work, but you are doing great!
NO! He is growing too fast! I cannot believe he is 6 months old already! He does look a lot like Mylo! Too cute!
Poor thing was starving. Who knew? Sad. I'm glad you were able to increase your milk supply pumping. I have a feeling Marissa is going to LOVE real food too. ;) Lately she watches every bite that goes in our mouths. The kids are eager to start her on food, but I've been putting it off. I, too, am having a bit of a difficult time letting go of the little baby stage and moving into the older baby stage. Time really does fly...DANG IT! It's hard to let go of the sweet, squishy, chubby-cheeked baby stage, but I do love watching them grow into their personalities as they get older.
He is completely adorable. I guess it's time to start him on chocolate and peanut butter, right? LOL.
That little boy is so cute and sweet. It is sad that his baby phase is passing, but think of all the cute phases he will be entering...saying mama, crawling, getting tons of teeth, trying new foods (lemon anyone?) keep your camera ready for all of these!
What a little stud muffin. I love seeing him grow and look more like his big brother. Such a cutie pig.
