.... that this purchase would bring me to tears?!?!?
As I was checking out at Deseret Book this morning, my eyes welled up with tears. I cannot believe that the time has come to get Leah her very own set of scriptures! My little baby is growing up and I cannot stand it. It seem like just yesterday she was in Dave's arms being blessed!!!!!
TIME, PLEASE STOP!!!
I hope and pray that Leah will hold on to these scriptures and find guidance in them as they have guided my life.

THAT.IS.CRAZY!!
It's true they do grow up way too fast.
Chillona! :) I'm just kidding. It is true that the time goes by so fast.
Leah is strong and she has that spunky attitude to help her fend off Satan and his temptations. She is great and she has good examples to teach her.
I got emotional too when we purchased Ethan's scriptures and then even more when I saw his name written in them...it felt like it was happening too soon because time is going by too fast. He loves his scriptures though and gets excited to bring them out and read a scripture here and there for FHE...I hope that he too like Leah will find guidance in those great books. I know you and and Dave are good examples of how to live them. Love you girly.
I am in tears too. What a special moment. I remember getting my first scriptures like it was yesterday. You know that she will remember this moment right? I agree, time stop.
I'm sure she'll treasure them. I still have my first set of scriptures I ever received. They bring back great memories. You're a great example for her to follow.
i cried, too, lau. i completely feel the same way. xo
She's a darling girl. I didn't cry when my older two turned 8. I wonder what's wrong w/ me?
I can't believe she is 8! What a cute sweet little girl.
Where does it go? I am so excited for her she will just love them, because you do! I love you Laura, you are so tender and sweet.
That is such a special day to get your own scriptures. I remember when I got mine, still the ones I have BTW.
Adelaide loves hers and had a wonderfully times FIG lesson about caring for them, thanks!!
