Such a Sweet Girl!

Sometime last year we switched Mylo into his "Big Boy" bed. When this all happened Leah really wanted to get a new bed and redo her bedroom. Well, the time has finally come. Thanks to IKEA, I love that place. Leah and I went to IKEA on Presidents Day and got what we needed to give her room a little make over. The truth is that Leah has earned this make over. She has been a very good girl for the past few months and has been a true pleasure to have around (not that she wasn't before).

Here is a picture of the before....

Here is the after....

Here's the part were "She is such a sweet girl"... After we fixed up her room all beautiful the next morning she woke up made her bed, as she usually does, that is one of her chores, picked out an outfit for the day and went upstairs to do the usual morning thing. Well, when I finally got out of bed I went in to her room and then to Mylo's, who by this point was already upstairs also, and to my SURPRISE Leah had made Mylo's bed as well. How SWEET is that?!?!? I have NEVER asked her to make his bed but she did it out of the kindness of her sweet little heart. What a doll I have. She is always willing to help and loves to help Mylo. I gave her lots of praise for her sweet kind service. She is a true joy to have around. I just ADORE her!!! I feel blessed to have a sweet little princess in my life... she makes everything very exciting. Here she is looking "Oh So Sweet"

She is absolutely adorable in the photo. I love the re-do of her room (although it was really cute before too!).

Cute post of Leah! I'm glad she's been such a good help.
I loved the pic's of the snow as well. Man that is one huge snowman. I'm glad the kids love their dad so much. It's so important. I wasn't brought up with snow either, so it's all cold and a mess to me as well. But I need to make sure I'm not a prude and go out there and play with the kids for sure. Masaru LOVED snow mobiling last year. But since we're having three summers in a row I don't have to worry about it for a while. Yaaa for me.
Miss you girl.

I LOVE the room! I think it is so much fun to change a room around and give it a little make-over. How great that Leah wants to help you do that and give her input into the design. That's cute that she made Mylo's bed for him. I love sweet child moments!

Thanks to all! It was really fun to do this with Leah. She has been keeping up with her room very well and is still making Mylo's bed in the morning. Maria, I agree, I love sweet child moments. They are what make me keep going every day.

I love IKEA! Not only because I grew up with all the swedish paraphanelia, but because they have darling things. Leahs bedroom is supercute and most importantly it makes her feel more grown up so she is acting more grown up. This will help with the new baby. Lets give a shout out to Swedish meatballs hip hip hooray!!!
