Night Out Together

Dave and I celebrated our anniversary Friday night at Cheesecake Factory.  It was DELICIOUS to say the least.  We had great time.  We sat outside and the weather was just perfect!!!

We were pretty hungry, so we started with Avocado Eggrolls.  SO yummy!!!  (this picture was not taken by me, we were so excited when they arrived that we just gobbled them up super fast :))

I enjoyed Crispy Shirmp with Coleslaw and French Fries as well as Strawberry Lemonade.

Dave had a Chicken Stuffed Tortillas, Black Beans and the most delicious Corn Cakes I have ever had!

For desert we had a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Carmel Cheesecake, SUPER rich in flavor.

We left feeling stuffed to say the least and as for me I left wanting to come back soon.  I am sure the dinner didn't help the waist line much.  But it was worth every bite!
We came home and watched Date Night.  It was funny and entertaining, however should not be rated PG13.  Dave and I had a fun night together.  So nice to be out alone and not be interrupted by the munchkins!!!

Summer Fun- Thx to Aunt Amy

This post should have been posted a loooooong time ago.  But, I have been busy with baby #4 and still trying to get caught up with life as I knew it.... but, here it is.....

Leah and Mylo had a FABULOUS summer, thanks to Aunt Amy and her sweet kids.  We have always had Cherry Hill passes, but this summer Leah and Mylo got Lagoon passes so they could hang out once a week with Amy and her kids.  It made for a GREAT summer for all of us.  The kids would go with Amy, Milli napped, and I relaxed or caught up with house work.  It was wonderful!!!!

Leah, Mylo, Diego, Porter and Kylie on the one day they went to Lagoona Beach.
They had a blast!!!

Kylie, Leah (poser), Mason, Gabi, Diego and Mylo (not sure what he is looking at)

Leah, Diego, Gabi, Kylie, Mason and Mylo- what a bunch of cuties!!!

The kids would come home and tell me all about the fun rides they had gone on and how much fun it was.  I was suprised as to how "daring" they were to go on the rides.  I think the fact that their cousins were daring helped a lot :)

The kids had the BEST summer EVER!

Fank You Uboldi Family!!!

ELVEN years of marital bliss!!!!

I CANNOT believe that we have been married for ELVEN years!!!  That is just crazy.  Time is flying by.  I love LOVE Dave.  We make a good team, I think.  We have been so blessed with our four little monkeys.

Karen "warned" me that Dave was hard to live with, little did she know that I was WORSE!  Dave does SOOOOO much for me.  He loves me unconditionally (as it should be) and I love him for helping me live my dreams :)

For our anniversary we got each other a new door, that still needs to be installed :)  SO romantic, I know.

SUCCESS.... for today :)

Milli was successful today with her potty training.  After several reminders of "do you need to go potty?" and "no accidents, ok?" and " you get a treat if you go potty IN the potty".... sure enough a day of trying REALLY hard to help her and have a TON of patience, we ALL succeeded!!!!

When she was done we cheered, danced, hugged her, kissed her, praised her big-girl-behavior and threw her up in the air (because she likes it :) ) She could see that Dave and I were SO proud of her and I think she was too.

I think the key is to leave her a lone in there.  I just hope tomorrow and the days that follow will be as good as today and maybe even easier :), for now I will settle with just like today.

YAY Milli Moo!!!!

I Love this child....

BUT, (and that is a very big BUT) she has been hard lately.  That is putting it mildly!  She is still super cute and sweet and fun and happy and a character, as you can see from the picture above.  HOWEVER, she is having a hard time understanding that playing with poop is not the same as playing with paint.

Playing with paint is fun and even pretty and the mess is actually fun to clean :) Now, playing with poop as paint?!?!  NOT GOOD! NOT PRETTY! And definitely NOT FUN TO CLEAN UP!!!!!

She is trying, I know she is but the other kids have NEVER played with poop before, N.E.V.E.R.  She will sit on the potty and has had a lot of success in the poop department, but only on her terms and ONLY on HER terms.  Today she sat for a good 45 mins, twice!  I didn't make her sit there for that long, she just did.  THEEEEEN, when it was time for bed we put a diaper on her and said good night.  About an hour later we come down to check on her and sure enough stinkiest basement EVER and poop EVERYWHERE!!!!  She needed a bath and I should have purchased new bedding, including the mattress to get the stick out.

Any suggestions on how to help her be more successful will be gladly accepted!  We have tried bribing her with candy, toys, treats, and games.  We have also tried taking away things when she is not successful.  Has anything worked for you?

Like I said, I love this child, more than words can express.  I just want her to succeed!!!!!!

Three Months Old!!!

Little Otis Deahn is three months old (as of the 28th). WE LOVE HIM!!!! He is so sweet and I love his stinkyness. In spanish you say "me lo como a besos!!!" The direct translation is "I want to eating with kisses", but it doesn't sound at all normal to say that in english... so I will stick to the spanish way this time :)

Slooooow down!!!!

Time seems to be flying! I can't stand it.... I feel as though my days are filled with cleaning the house, folding laundry (which doesn't get folded or done often enough), dishes, repair guys (lately, anyway), taking kids to school, homework and somewhere in there also filled with errands that cannot get done at a good or convenient time. I need time to slow down just a little at least. But in the mean while I have enjoyed a few things....

Milli came upstairs in this lovely outfit this morning :) Her jammas still on and she managed to put on yesterdays outfit on backwards. She was very please with her accomplishment. I must say, it made me smile. She is so much fun.

Mylo and Milli painted yesterday. We haven't done this for a VERY long time. Why? No good reason other than I feel like I need to hover over them so they don't make a mess and the last thing I want to do is hover when I could be doing something else. But once they were painting and not wanting to watch TV or play some electronic device, it was SO nice. They needed it as much as I did. I love to see them be creative.

I wish we had more of these kind of days, were the kids want to share their seat withe each other or give each other hugs because they truly love each other. We have been blessed with a few of these days this week. Maybe the kids are finally realizing that fighting is not as fun as getting a long.
